Introduction

Xuankong Fengshui is currently the most widely used Fengshui operation technique. Because of its mathematical traces and high applicability, it is loved by Fengshui climatologists. Shen’s Theory of Xuankong is a representative work that must be known to those who study Xuankong. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a designated textbook for studying Sanyuan Xuankong geography. When Shen’s Xuan Kongxue was first published, there were four volumes titled: 1. Zide Zhai Geography Cong said; two. Zhongshan’s house is broken; three. The Nine Lucks and the Stars form a map; the ancient meaning of the Four Mysteries and Empties. After the first edition, Shen Yumin continued to search for other manuscripts of his father’s lifetime, but because he had no time to sort them out, Wang Zexian reedited and published it, and renamed it Zengguang Shen’s Xuankongxue. After the recompilation, Shen’s Xuan Kongxue was increased from four volumes to six volumes. The first and second volumes are Shen Zhufeng’s manuscripts. After the new compilation, chapters such as “Xuankong”, “Tianxin”, “Zibai”, and “Three-Yuan Pseudo-law” were added. The third volume is Zhaiduan written by Zhang Zhongshan, annotated in detail by Shen Zhufeng. The fourth volume includes Jiang Zhiyi’s “Twenty-Four Mountains of the Nine Lucks and the Stars” and Jiang Yusheng’s “Xuankong Shallow Talk”, which was originally called “Xia Gua Stars”. The fifth coupon contains Shen Sheng’s poem “Rise of the Stars and Formation” and Wang Zexian’s “Xuankong Collection”. The sixth volume is still the ancient meaning of Xuankong, adding Jiang Ru’s “Teacher’s Essays”, and the other one is Du Zhenda’s collection of “Geography Compilation”.
