Guoying back then never thought that he would make predictions in his forties, and even wrote a monograph on predictions. In Guoying’s past thinking, horoscope predictions and the like were purely deceiving and idealistic tricks, and he had quarreled with others with staring eyes. On a certain day in the autumn of 1992, a colleague who worked with me began to read a copy of “Book of Changes and Forecasting” by Teacher Shao Weihua. I don’t know whether it’s because of being close to Zhu Zhechi or because of fate, since then, Guoying has taken a look at it even if he has nothing to do. Unexpectedly, the more I watched, the more addicted I became, and then I gradually got started. Learning Liuyao pretending to be a hexagram is a pass, but Guoying memorized it without much effort. In the second year, the Zhouyi Society of Shandong Province held a class in Zibo, and Guoying naturally participated. Mr. Tang Mingbang, who is well-known in Yi Xue circle, also gave a lecture in that class. There were probably no fewer than fifty people who participated in that class in Zibo back then, but up to now, few of them have passed the test of pretense, let alone others. Guoying had already started watching “Di Tiansui” at that time. It’s a pity that many of the Guoying correspondence face-to-face classes later participated, but apart from memorizing the five elements of the Ganzhi and the Five Elements, and being able to arrange the Universiade’s fleeting years, they didn’t learn to criticize the horoscope at all. In the winter of 1999, a friend recommended that a person named Li Hanchen held a class in Zibo, and asked me if I would attend. I asked Li Hanchen who he was? My friend replied that he was an officer who was transferred from the army. I said that military officers held a training class for the Book of Changes? Is it higher than Shao Weihua? I understand what it means to miss it. However, I remembered the name Li Hanchen, and soon read his “Bazi Prediction” and soon joined his training class. In the spring of 2001, at the appointment of Teacher Li Jiuchen, he went to Tai’an to be his assistant. He taught in Hanchen Bazi intermediate and advanced training class until he left at the end of 2002, and worked with Mr. Li for nearly two years. Guoying first served as the main lecturer of Hanchen’s horoscope prediction intermediate and advanced training class, teaching all the theoretical courses; later, he took the prediction practice class on behalf of Mr. Li, and served as the main forecaster, predicting the horoscope for each student on the spot. Getting acquainted with Teacher Li and being fortunate to be his assistant was a fundamental turning point in Guoying’s Yixue career. During this period, Guoying not only learned many techniques of Mr. Li, but more importantly, he learned his methods of doing research: be brave in innovation, dare to make breakthroughs, be diligent in practice, be rich in associations, and be good at summarizing. Guoying thinks the latter is more important. The two years Guoying worked with Mr. Li was the most critical period when he invented and perfected the antithesis of Baishenism. I personally experienced and witnessed this historic process. Guoying wrote this passage in the preface of this book in order to clarify various gossip in this regard in the society. I hope this passage can become a material for introducing Mr. Li in the history of Yixue in China in the future. Don’t underestimate the weight of these few words for the contemporary Yi Xue Da Shigong, maybe you will run around looking for these few words in a certain year in the future. Guoying likes Yi-learning, he has the joy of obtaining new achievements in learning Yi-learning, and also has the painful lesson of reading the wrong book and finding the wrong teacher, so he is very clear about what kind of books Yi-learning lovers need in reality. Let Yixue lovers get out of confusion and hesitation, accept and master modern forecasting technology as soon as possible, and become a master of Bazi forecasting. This is the original intention of Guoying to write this book. This book will first give a comprehensive introduction to the basic knowledge of yin-yang, five elements, celestial stems and earthly branches. Because this part is written with a brand-new point of view, it is not only a must-learn content for beginners, but also a must-read part for Yiyou with certain basic knowledge. Among them, the function relationship theory, in the form of a special chapter, makes a brand-new scientific interpretation of all the function relationships used in the prediction of the horoscope; and then comprehensively introduces the technical system for analyzing the pattern of daily prosperity and decline. Guoying established a fixed pattern of “system theory” in forecasting practice, and this theory will be published for the first time in this book.
