Chinese numerology has been passed down for thousands of years, and reached a peak in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Apart from the three masters of numerology in the Republic of China, Yuan Shushan, Wei Qianli, and Xu Lewu, famous scholars and famous works emerged in large numbers, among which Wang Xintian’s “The Essence of Numerology Using God”, Ren Suiqing’s “Numerical Exploration”, Feng Yuting’s “Compendium of Philosophy Lectures”, Wang Qinnan’s “Integration of Numerology”, Zou Wenyao’s “Ziping’s Essentials of Fate”, Shi Tijun’s “Ziping Xuanli”, Huang Yunqiao’s “Golden Sound of Fate”, Meng Jichun’s “Ziping Experimental Record”, Xie Yilu’s “Star Destiny and Ancient Records”, etc. Numerologists in the Republic of China did not focus on the pattern, but mostly relied on the yen, taking into account the solar terms and the strength of the yen, which was the first of its kind in the modern day. “The Golden Sound of Numerology” is a complete volume, the author Huang Yunqiao, named Xuan Zhenzi, a native of Ningbo, Zhejiang, a numerologist in the Republic of China. The title of the book “Golden Sound” should come from “Mencius Ten Thousand Chapters” “Those who gather great achievements, the sound of gold and the vibration of jade”. There are many inscriptions in front of the book, and the content is extremely rich. Most of the words in the book are the play of the author’s daily experience in numerology, and such works are rare. The first and second volumes of “Ziping Experimental Records” are written by Meng Jichun, whose name is Hou’an, nicknamed Naiyuan, nicknamed Yakangjie, and was born in Licheng, Shandong. “Ziping Experimental Records” was written in Jisi, the eighteenth year of the Republic of China, and Meng was fifty-six years old at the time. Based on this, it can be known that he was born in 1874, the thirteenth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. The Meng family was born in a filial and honest family, influenced by his father Guan Sangong, he studied numerology after entering Pan. Successively served as a minister, with a clean hand, depressed and frustrated, and turned to numerology to pay the world for more than 40 years. The main place of activity was Tianjin first, and then Shenyang. Before the original book, there are four prefaces by Wu Guangxin, Zeng Yunpei, Hu Tianmin and the author, detailing the author’s numerology miracles and the reasons for writing. The first volume of Numerology and Personality Records contains 76 cases of famous personalities in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, most of whom are from the Northeast. The analysis of good and bad in the book is full of miracles. The second volume of numerology search is based on the author’s 40 years of special experience in giving orders. It is not easy to compromise the theories of “Yuanhai”, “Shenfeng”, “Three Fate”, “Zhen Interpretation”, “Di Tiansui” and other books. According to the former “Example”, “the secrets and profound principles should be published after the sequel”, but it is unknown whether the sequel will be published. It is a pity that Donghai Zhoushan Villa will be completed in Shanghai Kezhou Hall in mid-autumn.
