Introduction
The theme of this book is the phenomenon of shamanism in northern China. Shamanic ecstasy is one of the basic problems of shamanism, and it involves several problems in itself. Some of these questions come from the research object itself, and some are raised according to the academic history of shamanism. The ecstasy phenomenon of shamanism has important academic value, which is not only due to the important significance of ecstasy in the religious system of shamanism, such as reflecting the essential characteristics of shamanism and realizing the basic functions of shamanism, but also its status in the academic history of shamanism. The shamanism of the nationalities in northern my country is typical, and so is the trance form of shamanism. There is no precedent in the academic circles at home and abroad for the systematic investigation of the trance phenomenon of shamans in northern my country. Introduction. First of all, the value of this study is expounded from the aspects of the status of shamanic ecstasy in the history of shamanism and shamanism, as well as the shortcomings and insufficiencies of domestic and foreign academic research on this issue. About the author
Guo Shuyun, female, Han nationality, born in 1958, from Yongji, Jilin, professor, Ph. Research editor. Mainly engaged in the study of shaman culture of northern China. He has presided over 6 research projects including the National Social Science Fund Project “Research on the Manchu Epic “Ubu Xiben Mother””. Published “Primitive Living Culture – Shamanism Perspective”, “Living Shaman – Chinese Shamanism” (co-author), “Shaman Culture” (co-author), “Shaman Culture in Multidimensional Academic Perspective”, etc. book. He has published nearly 70 academic papers in journals such as Ethnic Studies, World Religion Studies, and Social Science Front. The research results have won the second prize of the provincial government’s social science outstanding achievements, and the first prize of the academic works of Chinese folk literature and art Shanhua.
